I swear I am the only person running those Ultra aluminium rims. The ones that look like two piece rims with the rivets. I felt outta place this saturday when a group of us went out wheelin'. Of the 11 rigs there I figure 8 were using the black Rock Krawlers or the 'bead lock look' version of them....
So tell me.....what are you running?
I also noticed most of them are running the Goodyear RTs also...
Just the power of observation!:eyes:

Just as I thaught......the black rims do look the part of an off roader. I suppose you knew I meant they were running Goodyear MTRs. I hear you can pick these rims up for about $35 each...

Ok, just to clear up a common mis-communication:
RIMS are steel, WHEELS are aluminum. As in steel rims, aluminum wheels.
I've run the following:
pretty aluminum 15 x 8 Alcoas
ugly black steel 15 x 8 x 4 rockcrawlers
pretty ugly 16.5 x 9.75 x 5.325 TR aluminum M/T beadlocks (real ones :)

That is a new one to me...I know the difference betweeen an engine and a motor (non of us have a motor in our Jeeps.) But I'm not familiar with your definition between a wheel and a rim.......
I thaught a rim was just part of a wheel and its composition was not critical....hmmmmmm

Umm, I thought the "rim" and "tire" make up the "wheel" assembly. That's the way I learned it anyway.
Edit: I run AR 767 black rims, 15x7 4 inches backspacing BTW.

I've got the stock "10 hole" wheels. Got 'em at the u-pull for $13 each. They even had the Jeep medallions in 'em still! They look sweet with 31s on 'em. I chemically stripped 'em and re cleared 'em myself.
Found this pic at a wheel sales site for reference purposes.
