Where con you buy snowchains online? I need size 37x12.5x15 and I cant seem to find a place online to buy them.

If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it, its gonna snow soon here and CA law say you must carry chains (that fit) and I promised to take my daughter as soon as it snows.

Thanks!

Most good parts stores can put a set together in about 20 minutes max, it's not rocket science, it's just 4 long chains and maybe 10 or 15 crossover links between the two then some spring loaded spreaders. Tire stores and farm supply stores can also do it, maybe $20 or $30 a wheel. I live around alot of farms so the two 'got every thing from VW's to John Deer' parts stores do some interesting work and not of the break the bank variety. I walked into one a few years ago for chains for my Trooper, they took some string, measured the tire and had the chains done in 15 minutes. Heck, now that I think about it two of the old time hardware stores here also do it. They just whip some string around your spare if it's the same size and build them, toosl needed are a pair of chain cutters, 5 lb sledge, anvil and they did tack the locking clips on though. Seeing it done a couple of times I could probably build a set with my big bench vise playing the anvil and my bolt cutters for cutting the chain and the cross links.

I checked and they dont list chains for my size, just bigger or smaller (ie 37x13.5x15). I'm pretty sure they'll work but not 100% so I figured I'd call them tomorow. thanks thought!

Chains are easy to make fit so if you find a deal on long ones then jump on them. Tractor dealers have piles of good used ones and semi truck junkyards have piles of them also. It's just chain or at least the good ones are. So they are simple to cut with a grinder and you can get the screw on chain linK connectors for a buck to make some longer.
