Just found this out tonight...

If anyone is nearing the age of 21 or under the age of 35 and interested in a career in law enforcement, my deptartment (which, when you figure in all the benefits and cost of living is one of the top 20 departments in pay in the country) is currently taking applications until October 20th, 2006.

Age discrimination. Or do they count Mil service and adjust?

man, if only it was a bit closer to utah. i am looking for a career as an LEO, just hoping to stay in the western reagion.

No, but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night...

Actually yes...I went through the 20 week academy between Jan and May of 2005.

Just trying to spread the word to get the best possible pool of candidates.

And it will give me more senority.
