You make it sound like a deal is going down :D ... I'll try to be down there between 9-930.. I"ll load the jeep up Friday night and pull out around 8. If Glenn and the other SC guys can't get there til 10:30 we'll go make a run and then meet up w/ them if you want...

To be honest.. I dont know what's gonna happen w/ my heep... The most it's been wheeled is at 45mph on the road from the shop to my house :doh: .. Oh well


Jeep/Bronco: You'll have plenty of fun open and stock at Uwharrie... heck it's just about as much fun wheeling it locked... You'll be fine though so bring the XJ down...

Well I finished mounting the new M8000 tonight and lenghtened my rear driveshaft so as long as nothing breaks between now and then i'll be there...

I still need to give the jeep a bath and try to get some of the over spary off of it after painting the cage... But look forward to meeting up w/ everyone..

Anyone else coming.. A lady I work is bringing her stock TJ down so that should be interesting...

Wow Mark... you successfully made my jeep look like a baby next to Glenns..

And typicall me... my wife used the camera a few days ago and as soon as I turn it on... it's dead :nono: It was nice to meet up with you guys and wheel the world's largest dust bowl. Hopefully we can get together again sometime soon maybe over dinner or something.

All in all it was a pretty good day... Glenn decided to break a 44 shaft... or locker.. or who knows what it was but he was a tropper and 3-wheeled the rest of the day. He also left a little bit of white 2-door paint at Kodak. Mark had a few clutch issues but all in all walked everything he tried... and let me tell you the amount of detail he's spent spent on his XJ is just amazing. Nothing's half assed there... I decided to let my little brother drive Daniel and he did well... DCinSC got a decent trail scar on his passenger rocker just below Kodak... my cousin in the YJ destroyed another rear driveshaft... Mine held together pretty well except for some noise from the PS box?

Already looking forward to the CRAWL...

Was a good run. I think I sheared the pins in the lockright. If that ends up being my weak link that will reall suck. We will see. We road jsut about all the trails that were open today. All in all good times. A little sad to see so many not show up though. We had plenty of open seats too.

I have a tendacy to have bad luck! :gee: I have a 60 in the shop but the cost of gears and lockers for it are stopping me building it atm. Not to mention that I would need all new rims and tires. Because I would need bigger meats to clear the bigger diffs! :) I'll tear down the other side and see what that shaft looks like. Lennie has a spare long side for me right now. I am thinking about alloy's. I am really disappointed in the D44's track record atm.

Actualy I spit a cap. Mark heard it which is why I did not break the shaft then. Yea I am definately too hard on shit. I did have both boxes engaged when it let go. I was trying to crawl it lol!
