Driving back from the girlfriends, I see an S10 towing another S10. A little bit ahead of that is a Toyota towing another Toyota. I have witnessed the Toyota towing another Toyota phenomona before. Any ideas as to why people do this? Parts vehicles?

Ya most the time Places buy multiple junkers and sell parts put different ones together stuff lke that. Even Kia cars pulling Kia cars. You probably seen numbers marked on the windows too. These groups of junk buyers travel really far for some shit too.

Bet they were headed south. They are destined for Mexico for resale. They (small trucks) bring top dollar in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala etc...

On I-81 near Lexington VA headed south, and I hope he stays there. Very dangerouse if you ask me and the guy had a baby in a car seat in the Nissan. I was running 80mph to catch up for my rider to make the photo. He was weaving in and out of traffic at 70+.

Ah. Alright. Most of the other times I'd see this happening is coming back to El Paso from Las Cruces.

When I was hauling cars for a living(on a transport truck) I used to run the same routes as these guys. Usually cause I was hauling cars to the same places as them.

They come up here from Mexico and buy from the salvage auctions. From what I have been told, Mexico has no salvage title laws so they can buy them on branded titles and sell them down there for lots more money.

Towed a 94 XJ behind my 97 XJ from Portland to L.A. Gas was cheaper back then and buying vehicles out of state really paid off...not so much now.

Lest I be called out for being a N00b, I meant an 02 Libby since 01's don't exist.

"Tow Rig" Love it. Yeah I thought about getting a Dodge Ram 1500 to tow the old buggy but the really nice car salesman told me I could do that with this "slighty used" Corolla and get great gas milage.
