Flushing Heater Core

going to try and flush my heater core tommorow, are these the two hoses i need to disconnect?

those are the correct hoses BUT you wanna disco them from the thermostat housing, not directly off the heater core. When you flush it, make sure you flush it with some HO water or some really HOT water. If you can, try to hook up some air to the hose and see what comes out the other hose. Point away from you obviously.
 
x2 on disconnecting from the thermostat housing and water pump pipe than directly from the heater core. Plus it'll be easier to work with over there!

Upper is the input line, the bottom is the return.

Reverse flush it a few times too. Good idea with the pressurized air.
