ok lookin at a set of pitbull rockers (2nd choice is mud grapler in the same size) , anyone running them ? just wonder what rim and backspacing people where using . i'm guessing a 10" wide rim , was going to run them on my 8" rim @ low pressure (trail only tire)....mistake.?. well let me know if there is anything "special" that needs to be done to run a tire that wide (clearence issue's?).thankx

I have a Toyos in 33x13.5x15 with originally 15x8 with 4.75 backspacing, but they were too close to the rear leafs, and I was rubbing up front, so I switched over to 15x10 with 4in backspacing. They do great, no problems with rubbing really that I can remember. If you were running these just offroad, then I would probably recomend, as canman said, the 15x8's

I ran the 15x8's first because thats what my original rims were. I didn't have any real problems, but I did run them on the streets a lot, and after some highway drives of about an hour, I could feel the center of the tire was pretty warm and probably getting a little more wear. I adjusted the PSI a little for this.

I needed to move the tires away from the inside, so I got the 4 inch backspacing, and figured I'd go to 10 in wide at the same time. The tires are noticabley wider, and a slight bit shorter. I'm happy with them, but I have already hit my rims on some rocks that I probably wouldn't with 15x8s

Here is a pic for you.
