quick reply needed 8.25 ubolt size

I know I need 3" ubolts but what diameter and length?I have re 4.5 inch springs....need to tell my friend so he can get them for me tomorrow....thanks

Well, the diameter would be....3 inches.

And figure the length would have to cover the 3 inch tube, spring perch, leaf pack, and top plate. A little more than 6 inches, maybe.

Too long is better than too short. You can always cut them down.

Or you could always use a measuring tape.

he knows someone that works at a place like fastenall so I need to tell him a rough size and thread diameter because they have a bunch of different ones....I know they can be cut down but he was saying that the ones he seen didn't have threads all the way down,If that makes sense..

so I should be cool with 3" diameter x 7" long x 1/2" thread?
Do they come in different grades?Ifso how do I tell?
