Long story really short
89 4.0, aw4, 242
T case stuck in 4low
Drove 60-75 miles like this at 35 mph 3k rpms.
Stopped to check fluids etc, tranny stuck in drive linkage was good and everything looked right from the outside.
Ten miles later tranny goes and spins like a burnt clutch. Leaving me with 5 mph as a top speed.
Could this be because of a fluid leak or or too high of temps from running low gears for too long?
How do I know if its a goner, anything I can check?
