locker or not

i bought an 89 auto with 4.o and when i back up it clicks but it seems if it is backing up perfectly staight no clicks. some one said it might have a locker in it any other suggestions. the click is from the rear end
 
Sounds like a lunchbox locker to me. 2 ways to check: 1) prop up the rear end, put it in neutral, spin one tire and see if they spin in the same direction or 2) open up the differential cover to see what's in there. It probably could use a fluid change anyway :)

there good on smaller rigs.
33's and smaller, stock horsepower. I have an aussie and it works perfectly.
