I have the choice swap a 92 minivan for a rolled 95 grand or a 95 cherokee.
Both have 4.0 the cherokee has 8.25 in the back the grand is a 35.
the front in the grand is a cv style setup. Neither have any good sheetmetal.
Which one should I get?

Well, this is NAXJA.

The Cherokee has a better rear axle and transmission, but the Grand will have better interior stuff. Depends on what you want out of it.

Drivetrain - stick with the Cherokee
Interior stuff - Grand

Go with the XJ much better than the ZJ if you ask me. I have owned both of them before though.

ZJ's are for families, XJ's are for single guys.

I would tend to lean towards the XJ, but seeing how the grand would have the rear discs...it would be a tough call for me. I can sell D35 shafts all day long to my buddies, so I would look at the reslae value of some of the grands parts. if the grand has a fuel tank skid it should adapt to the 97+ XJ's I have read. that is a tough call....

The ZJ MAY have discs. In 95 rear discs were optional...

But if it was me, I'd get the ZJ(I need a bunch of interior stuff for ours)
