well operation dumptruck failed for jv this weekend......

unfitting parts seems to be the big let down

still to do list.

find new 14 bolt rear yoke.

figure out why the 1310 cv front yoke conversion for my rubi tcase has and inch of slop in it...

hook up hydro assist lines bleed system...

mount one more tire on beadlock

14 bolt brake hardline

install d60 axle shafts

install new d60 brakes

shocks.

misc. tubework

shave the 14 bolt

i came damn close but no cigar.... looks like the dumptruck will be sitting for a few more weekends.

on the lighter side looks like more beertime in ryans passenger seat for me!

well....i found the yoke i need for $158 locally.....

i could get a new driveshaft made and use the old yoke on the tcase....

then i could be wheelin on sunday.

Dude on ebay sells em for like 50 delievered and they come from partsmike or AA I forget which. takes one day, butyes now its to late.

Or if its the ujoint ujoint yoru worried about, get a conversion one, napa has most all of the different conversions..

okay im back in the fight,

jack at ctm saved the day again.

first he woked overtime to get my shafts all finished then he went home and pulled a yoke off of his 14 bolt he had to give to me.

then we spun up the rubi 1310 cv yoke on the lathe to put relief on the splines and now it slides right on and tightens up proper like,

fired up the dumptruck today, it hadnt been started in over a year.

now all thats left is install front driveshaft, bleed the hydro and find some rocks on ryans farm to play on......

jack wants me to go out to jv with him this weeked, he wants to create a trail. rig or not that will make for a pretty good time

ill update with some pics tomorrow.

the crusty's 8-9" coils put the hood at my nose........

i might have to cut those down

no, honestly, I now believe that he can get it done it time to wheel with Jack and Jody Everding this weekend if he stays focused. He started it last night.
