If you have installed an aftermarket HU in your 96 or older jeep please post a picture of it. I just can't get mine to look clean enough for me to be satisfied.

my pioneer 2330 sticks out a lil too far. I have the black plastic center stack cover.

get a file out and start filing away the factory metal bracket. Some head units are different, whether they come w/ a frame that sticks out a little bit or fit in perfect. ive had 3 different jeeps and all 3 head units fit differently. I dont have any pictures, but dont by an intallation kit, it aint worth the money, unless its 97 or newer.

I bolted the Pioneer HU to the Stock Metal Bracket, and moved the mounting holes down an inch or less.

X2, this is how I do it at work. It can take a little playing around with to get adjusted right.

bad pic, but I used the stock bracket, bolted to the alpine deck, and slid the thing in place, then installed the dash bezzle over it.http://www.loganglass.net/pb/wp_c6957de9/images/img713344d9f8219160a.jpg

I also used the stock braket but had to drill the holes out a little larger. Thanks!!
