ACTUALLY, a plane can pretty much disintegrate, so to speak. All a matter of mass and velocity. The mass of the Pentagon, a HUGE dense, hewed stone building has greater mass than that of the titanium/aluminum and styrofoam aircraft and it's velocity combined. There was a LOT of damage to the Pentagon but it pretty much made short work of the plane. It's about ENERGY. The Energy of the static building was close to the energy of the moving aircraft.

Like a car hitting a telephone pole at 100mph. Shears off the pole and inflicts major damage on the vehicle due to the velocity of the car.

Hit a concrete BRIDGE ABUTMENT at 100mph. Car disintegrates into small pieces, almost no damage to concrete. NOW, increase the speed by 4 times and lighten the MASS of the projectile by 200% at least. Bye bye plane.

Cars have a greater relative mass by far than a plane.

Don't know what TV you were watching that day BUT I saw debris all over the place. Including landing gear and engine parts.

A 757 has a 124 ft wingspan...it's doesn't fawking matter how long it is. One of the reasons that was cited for the collapse of the WTC buildings was the tremendous heat that's generated by the burning jet fuel. There's wouldn't be much left of an aircraft that crashed into a building with a decent fuel load...hence the reason there wasn't as much debris as the public would like to have seen.

Documents that are classified have a date attached to them that they'll be de-classified (ex. 50 years from date they're classified). If there are any papers that far back that are still classified, it's probably because no one requested access to them. It's called the freedom of information act..if you give a fawk about something that happened 80+ years ago, request that the records be opened.

In the event of an accident (ex. "screwed the pooch"), the military conducts an accident review board. The proceedings are non-retribution...meaning that anything the participants say cannot be used against them for disciplinary purposes. Look at Wilkpedia for the C-5 that crashed at Dover, DE a couple months back...a good example.

There are some screw-balls in the government...but it's pretty pathetic to make a blanket statement that everyone is only concerned with their jobs and doesn't want to do the right thing.

Do I belive the pentagon was hit by a cruise missile, initially no way, confiscated film that was NOT made available ASAP sets off certain alarms. Do I believe that there are people in the govt that would be capable of doing that, you can bet your ass that I do because I knew people that were capable of it and would do it without a second thought if it was part of a plan that came down from higher, had the correct chops on it and came down the chain right.
I didn't even hear about the hijackings and crashes until well after noon time, working in a data center that required going thru 2 mantraps as well as being shielded kind of cuts you off from the world but then it's something I was used to seeing as I spent several years on nuke subs prepared to launch country killers on receipt of an eam and correct codes.
Do I believe it was a civilain airliner that hit the pentagon, on the day, yes 100%, after they locked down the information for what 3+ years, that pesky alarm on the back of my neck put a percentage of doubt there because it's sop to control the spin and the information that gets put out when A: you don't want the 'enemy' to know what you know or B: when you don't want the public to know. In the case of A: the terrorists already knew they had succeded from watching CNN, MSNBC, BBC and a dozen other news outlets.
So, I'm either paranoid or the Navy and Army trained me too well in security over the 27 years I was in...

You have paramedic Daniel Rivera's interview split in two and Stephen Gregory's interview split in two as if there are different people hearing different explosions. When I was giving her the oxygen, setting up the tank, you could hear a loud rumble. Somebody said run for your life. I turned to see who was yelling "run".

In the context of reading it off a conspiracy site this may sound like damming evidence. They are saying “detonated” and “they had planned to take down a building”. They even say “Boom” to describe the sound. But if you hear the other things they’re saying, their body language and context outside the conspiracy theory setting, something else emerges. Before or after every description is “As if”. “As if they had planned to take down a building”. “It was as if as if they had detonated”. They also use body language to show it was the sound of the floors crashing into one another.

This could be just as powerful evidence of pancaking as the use of explosives. But the real evidence isn’t so much examining the video as examining the actions taken, or NOT taken, by the NYC Fire Department after the event. The NYC Fire Department hasn’t rallied its members to force an investigation into the possible murder of over 300 of its members. Some sites offer an explanation of this saying there was a gag order placed on the Fire Department. The only place you will find this is on conspiracy theory sites. No mention from main stream press about the hundreds if not thousands of fireman on the scene not being allowed to talk.

Don't you think that the NYFD that lost so many of their own would be more vocal about pursuing a conspiracy theory?

I said i didn't trust the kid who made the movie, or the theories put forth in it. So before we jump like froggies, go back and read the entire post. And yes, the firefighter said he saw explosions like used in demolitions, what did i say, "charges", what, are we splitting hairs now? And yes, i would trust the NYFD's word before anyones, when it comes to the towers. About the pentagon, i just don't know. I certainly think if the Bush Admin. had anything to do with a conspiracy, it would have definitely failed, like everything else they've touched. Although it's certainly strange how it all worked out in their favor and has made oil barons extremely wealthy.

What i was really wanting to know, was what others thought about the ending of the movie, when he talks about alot of the hijackers still being alive and well living in their countries of origin. I haven't heard this before, was wondering if anyone had info or insight into this claim
