Found a Dana 44 if anyone is interested

It has been a long time since I visited the board. I moved to Lemoore and I saw an XJ that was on the side of the road with a "Parts" sign on it at a shop. I stopped by to check the rear axle. Sure enough, it wasn't an oval. Stop sign looking Dana 44. Score for someone. If you live in the Fresno/ Visallia area or you are willing to make a drive, drop me an email at deciccos@sbcglobal.net and I can give you more info. Of course, a nice Sirrea Nevada or a Chevy power steering box referal fee will be in effect. I don't know how much it costs since the place was closed for the weekend. But if someone is interested, I'll ask and might help you pull it.

OK, I have two folks interested in the XJ, one guy is local and the other got to me first. It might be a possibility someone claimed the entire rig minus the engine prior to my first post. The oner just didn't take the sign off and now I see that the engine is pulled. I am stopping by today and will get back to both of you tomorrow. I have to use the work computer as mine is hurting at home. I did send emails out with my contact number.
