Went to a barbecue

A friend from work had a barbecue tonight. Only two single people there (including me). It was different being around a house with four little kids running around (2-5 years old). I'm completely exhausted..they make me tired just watching them run around.

Fun thing to do when you don't have kids:

Get other peoples' kids wound up like midgets on speed, with steadily increasing tempest and intensity, until they absolutely can't stop giggling, screaming, and running around.

Then you leave. "Hey, y'all, thanks for everything!"

Drives parents crazy; takes an hour to get them to stop bouncing off of stuff.


(I do this to my in-laws' kids. GREAT fun!)

That's pretty much the sum of it. The kids stuffed their faces with cake. After that, it was game on. They had a pretty big place...their boy (age 5) was running around the house with a three-wheeler with one of the guys motorcycle helmets on...it was really a riot :D

Sounds like fun times had by all. I like BBQ's. Mainly just the food though.

The food was awesome. Beef, pork, chicken, smoked beans w/ bacon. It was a real feast. I feel like a real fata$$ at the moment :D.

Should've have slipped them some energy drinks.

I think they'd already reached their peak energy level. I doubt a red bull would've done much.
