A question for those of us who run CB's...

Where did you mount it? I'm thinking of taking out the cigerette lighter and moving it so I have a power outlet, and doing away with my ashtray all together and mounting it there, or mounting it on the hump under the console.

Where'd you put yours?

mines on the side of the center console between that and my drivers seat its a tight fit but it is never in the way and i just ran the wires under the console to the cigarette lighter
 
Mine is mounted above the rear view mirror using the screws & mount from the remote control door lock sensor. Great place for it and it's always out of the way.
 
I have a '92 with AX15 and mounted my CB in the ashtray location. Mounted my mike with velcro to the blank panel left of the radio. Easy to reach and it points the CB speaker out so I in my 1/2 deaf state can hear it.
