Anyone see it today? They showed a couple of Cherokee's in a desert race.

People still watch that chit?
I haven't watched that crappy Suday "Poewerjoke" lineup since they got rid of Stacy.....

I like watching the Extreme 4x4 show. They do some really interesting stuff and don't act like tools that are just happy to be on TV.

Now the bald guy that's on Trucks and those morons on the musclecar show really annoy me. If they'd stop playing for the camera it might not be as bad. Yeah it would.

Maybe so but I'm tellin' ya...if Spike would put a patch on his eye and get him a puffy shirt like the one from Seinfeld....I'd actually watch that show with some intent.

Stacy's trucks were guady, corny, laughable, and downright ugly, but at least it was interesting watching him build them, then beat the sh*t out of them.
I always did enjoy the Diesel tech (not the plug-n-play sh*t either), the real Diesel tech.
Then corporate really clenched, when they found out we were ALL watching.

X2. I liked Trucks (ex. the Bronco). I'm not a big fan of the other shows.

I watch Xtreme4x4 every week (Tivo). I don't agree with everything they do, but they can't please everyone all the time. I watch it to help keep up the ratings. If the show flops, there won't be much of a chance for off road related shows in the future. Jesse helps too;)

Who here, if you saw that big, raspy voiced dude from Trucks, would walk right up to him and call him a pole smoker?

I would, then I'd knee him right in the kineekis....

x2

except i would still run. i doubt he has any balls. he never does anything big to a truck he just plugs in a chip and gets paid. let alone try anything hard with it. i would love to see him take that big p.o.s truck he put a performance chip in and crawl it up a rock.

Man...you guys are hardcore. You're e-hard. :laugh3: I've done OK against a lot of dudes but I've gotten my a$$ KICKED too. I'm not a huge guy so I gotta plan accordingly. I'd have to see him in person before I made a decision. I might kick him in the billiards first and then call his b!tch a$$ out. I did deal with a rather large guy one night after I'd been drinking. He pissed me off for some reason. I sat there on a stool for hours just watching him. Staring. Trying to figure out what I could say/do in front of his friends that would get to him. I finally settled on walking up and calling him a big fa got. He was a good ol boy so I figured that would do it. It did. I paid dearly but it was worth it knowing I had gotten his goat. He beat me even more severly after I told him he punched like he had a limp wrist. :laugh3:

I wasn't expecting that!:D

The last time I was in a fight was spring break 1996 in Corpus Christi, Tx.
I was twenty-two and five months from getting out of the Air Force.
It was in a bar called the Ucitan.
I was plowed and back then, that meant I was violent.
That guy was looking at me because I was being loud, rude, and beligerent and I didn't him doing that.
I hated when people acted annoyed by me.
After about 5 minutes of the dirty looks, I got up and went over and told him, if he had a seeing problem, I can fix it.
He smirked.
Then I hit him.
But I punched him in the mouth.
Well, after a night and day in the Nueces Co. Jail, I had to go back to my base, in North Carolina, and tell them I got arrested and that I have to go back for my court hearing.
Amazingly, my squadron commander didn't do or say much of anything to me about it.
Well, I went back to court in Texass, and got a year's probation (through the mail:D) and had to pay for the guy's dental work, as I had knocked six of his front teeth out onto the floor...... for looking at me.
I guess the judge knew the plane fares and a long distance probation would suck enough, so I got off REAL easy.
That was the last time I ever went out to a club with a tough-guy attitude.

Since then, I've been in plenty of scraps while I worked in the penitentiary, but that was mostly unprovoked, or simply taking someone down for compliance.

Now, since I haven't worked in the prison for five years, I don't seem to have much of a violent anything, anymore.
Seems time and experience have turned me into a diplomat.

I got loads of stories T. I once got mowed down and I mean MOWED down in a bar in Belleville, Illinois by about 9 chicks. Don't know where the hell they came from and I didn't see em til the last minute when they broadsided me. I went down. I got up and yelled (slurred), "Bishes!!!!!". I had a nasty rasberry on my knee b/c the floor in this establishment was astroturf. I'll have you know though that I didn't spill one drop of my beer.

I also once got down in a 3 point stance in a bar and took a run at a dude with the intent of blasting him to the moon. Didn't work out as planned though. I never looked for trouble but I wasn't afraid to get it on even when I knew full well I was goin home hurt. I'm glad those days are over.
