Saw it last night on the telly. It was pretty freaking high and pretty freaking wild...

Thoughts on what's next?

yay!!! Now every single X-game will have a bunch of guys on bikes doing backflips. Boring. Once you see them once, yeah it's cool but after that it's just boring. I like seeing the old tricks.

but they're not "just doing backflips." they're doing tons of variations like no hander, heel clickers, super flip, etc backflips. they're truely amazing.

Pastrana's double was cool and all, but that cliffhanger backflip (by someone else) was fawkin NUTS! Hanging, upside down, by your toes, forty feet above the ground, while a 230 pound dirt bike is flipping above you... that was more impressive to me.

That was actualy the second time he landed it. His first was in Spokane,WA. He said that he would never do it again but just had to. .http://expn.go.com/expn/story?pageName=sx12motoxbt

Still it was awsome to see. Along with all the others.

but the first time he landed it in competition on hard packed dirt. the other attempt was on a sandy dune according to the announcers that night.

it wasn't hard packed dirt. if you saw before he did it they were braking up the dirt before he went. he said not word for word "i would rather land on soft dirt and have a chance of serviving"

but that was awsome. i just want to know what idiot did not give him a 100.

i think his first one was nice. it looked like a back filp with a superman thrown in there.

well thats what I get for not keeping up, cool to see the "tricks" are back with the flips and not just back flips.

yeah i saw that. but by me saying "hard packed" i meant that it was dirt that was, for lack of a better term, packed down by hand. not a soft fluffy sand dune
