leaf pack build question 3/4 dodge spring

i know the right thing to use is the dakota or s10 springs for a bastard pack........but does any know if lets say a 3/4ton dodge ram springs.......i got a wicked good deal on them.....same width....obsvisuly rated higher strength.........would work mixed into a Xj pack.....im guessing it would be rough but im not sure it would be too bad..........any opinions?

i think they came out a 95 maybe?

I've used leaves from a Ramcharger with good success. Any 2.5 inch wide spring with more arch than the XJ springs can be used for a bastard pack. It might take a few tries to find the right combo, but give it try. And let us know what you come up with, it might save the next guy a few hours of trial and error.
