re 3.5 on a 99xj

I have a 99 xj with a re 3.5 lift on it i would like to take it to 4.5" anyone have any ideas on the best way to get there? I was thinking a 1.75 coil spacer and 1" shackle kit and not useing the original coil spacer.

Weld in a spacer. Weld just so it doesnt chatter, or even fall out if your suspensions capable. If money is not an issue then new 4.5" coils are cheap. Then the shackles.

You got it right on the money.

the re 3.5 lift doesnt come with a new tracbar....
if you havent added this in, you may run into issues....

I did upgrade to a adjustable trackbar

This is what i did, it works great, The shackles makes the ride smoother on road while the down travel increases more than you'd expect. The front spacer does not change the ride. With an adjustable track bar you should have no problems. Check your brake lines if you haven't already adressed those.
