Just loop the hoses for now, enjoy your trip.

Yes you can loop it, but beware that this time of year, it is a lot more likely that the drain in the heater/AC is plugged causing liquid leaking from condensation, than it is to have a leaky heater core. Check the leaking fluid to make sure it is antifreeze instead of just water. If it is a plugged drain, looping the heater core will not stop the "leak"

Gool luck on your trip.

I checked and it is definatly antifreeze,i'll loop it for now,so i can make the trip without it bursting all over my wife. Thanks again.
