Ok for a few weeks my oil pressure gauge
would idle at about 40 psi
and during driving stay at 80 or higher, and peg out when i accelerate
now i have tons of oil under the jeep, smoke trails from the oil leaking on the exhaust
and there is oil POURING from the oil pressure sending unit
(above oil filter Yet under the distributor cap)
its actualy pushing out the last rubber gasket towards the end at the wire when the engine runs, even when i push it back in
Now i know the sender is bad of course, but will a new one stop the leak as well?
or is there something that im missing and a new one will end up the same?
any help would be great , i need to get this fixed in the next few hours lol
