Before this gets thrown in the wrong direction off the bat, I just to clarify why I'm posting this. I saw this video for the first time a few days ago and it just reinforced my decision to go into Law Enforcement. Those of you that hate police, I don't care. I'm not asking for your opinion on police, how they have treated you, etc. I believe this video exemplifies what a true hero is(the officer in the video was awarded the medal of valor) in todays society. That being said, here's the link:

Well, at least the chase and shootouts didn't endanger civilians......

That cop has some big balls.

If you do end up as a police officer, always wear your vest.

That's some awesome video there.

Officer Greene did a fantastic job with that entire incident. Awesome officer safety, tactical control. He didn't get emotionally hyped, he stayed focused and kept a good distance to give himself time to move and minimize himself in the suspect's sites. The dispatchers were awesome too- they shut up and kept the radio clear.

Simply amazing.

Coming from a family in Law Enforcement I always find it funny that the people who always seem to hate cops are the ones who can't seem to stay out of trouble. Since it is 3AM I will watch the video in the morning or um...Afternoon when I wake up.
