what's a misfire like?

Never experienced it, nor can hear it due to my hearing loss. What does a vehicle do when it misfires? Is there a way to know it's misfiring without being able to hear it?

It's like an earthquake under your hood, untill you get out of the misfire range then it's just fine.

ok alright. I guess i never experienced a misfire cuz i never had an "earthquake" before. I actually never had any issues at all with any of my jeep motors.

Well, if you really want to experience a massive congregation of misfires, wire up your sparkplugs backwards.
