Locker Question

I dont know that much about lockers, so i want to know what type of lockers would allow you to drive on the street normally (limited slip, air lockers, lunchbox?). and would you have to put them in the front only to do this? thanks

you can drive on the street with all of them.

limited slips and selectable lockers are the best for the street.

lunchbox lockers are the cheapest

Lots of guys will run an autolocker such as a full detroit in the rear and the front depends on their street expectations.

The front axle is not under load in 2wd so you will hardly notice a locker up there until you put it in 4wd. Alot of people run auto lockers up front cuz they are invisible during daily driving. I've always ran a lockright in my front dana 30 axles for years. No ill-effects on the street. Slightly reduced turning radius in 4wd though.
