Pinecrest

Hey im going camping by pinecrest lake in a couple of weeks and I saw that there was some ohv areas out their. Has anyone gone out their? I was wondering if it would be worth driving the jeep out their rather than my truck.

although i've never done the OHV thing there...i have done trials...some are pretty cool. I would stop in the ranger station above Longbarn and get a map, they have always told me the trails are "very difficult"... so take that for what its worth.... but like i said they do have some pretty good maps...

Oh...checkout Beardsley as a good lake option too for camping/boating

Niagra creek trail is a very fun trail with a lot of things for stock to very modified vehicles http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CA-108/index.shtml. Its about 30-40 min up HWY 108 from pincrest.
