I have my 60 pinion angled up and needing to increase the amt of fluid I can get in there. What would be the best thing to use to plug the new hole? When people move there plug higher on the cover what do they use to make a seal...something at napa, zone, advance. :helpme: Thanks guys

pipe thread works well because of the taper, or use a straight thread with an o-ring.

I have NPT half couplers that we use for ports when building hydraulic cylinders. (picture a pipe thread coupler cut in half).
You just drill a hole and weld this to the cover.
PM me and I'll send you one if you want.

I thought this was a pretty easy way to relocate it, if you have a welder. Cut out a rectangle, (shorter or longer depending on how far you want to move it) flip it over and weld it up.
