i am planning on swaping out my tired I6 (295,000) on it i was wondring witch one i should go with or if it matters at all thanks for any help you can give

think about restating your question so it makes sense

all we know is you have an I6 in your jeep.

do you want to replace with a different year I6 or v8 swap?

sorry i want to stick with the I6 i have a 87 i just wanted to know if there was a better version of the I6 or if there all the same

Stroke it. Use your existing block (it's got a thicker casting) and, if you're not a subject of the Air Police, get an OBD-I (1991-1995) top end for it.
