Its BIG. It moves. Its getting tint tommorrow. Just had a modified valve body done. Going to do a Bully Dog III tuner box. Going to go a couple of tire sizes bigger (whatever will fit w/o a lift). Should have a rock your socks off stereo by MOAB '08.
Have a '94 Dodge B350 Van 119k 360 v8 forsale or trade for 6.5 to 8 foot popup truck camper.

Your tow rig is as cool as that new Impala Cruiser in the background. Must be nice having a take home car and a tow around truck, hmmm. If I get the truck, maybe I could have the cruiser too--wait, that's my XJ, my bad. Cool truck, I keep thinking a Cummins is in the budget somewhere.

Nice.
im jellous of your rear seat's legroom...
it comes in handy when you have 24 hours to drive from sacramento to Rapid City, SD with 4 full size guys... My 'extended cab' left a lot to be desired in the back seat comfort department...

For future, none of the 6.0L you would buy today should have any problems.
They either were fixed already, or didn't have any problems at all.
I would not be afraid of a 6.0 at all!

Actually the only prob with the 6.0 was if it was in an International chassis. They are built by them ya know, but I.H. put all the gear driven shit in the rear, while Ford put the (power steering pump) in the front. I.H. 6.0.'s have all been recalled for gear changes, ford, no probs.

Only problem with the megacab is that you can only get the shortbed (they do make a dually shortbed too) so you limit yourself to a certain extend on truck campers. Works good for me tho cause I'm now currently looking for a popup truck camper in the 6.5 to 8 foot variety...actually found one, but need to sell the van first...
I'm going to sleep in the back of it this weekend...doesn't have the room that the van has, but gets places a little more easily with a LOT more power.
I wondered if this wouldn't turn into a Ford/Dodge debate. And really, there's not much to debate because I think that both are a good truck. (I personally wouldn't touch a chevy.) If money were no option I'd have a cummins motor with a Ford Body and interior...but that realm is WAY out of my budget.
Either way with my average of 7-10k a year in miles this truck (because I nearly have a fleet) should last me a long time and have a great resale value when the time comes.

I saved up enough to put a little down. Not enough to make the payment any fun, but I got tired of saving and looking. Found a good deal and bought it....
Oh, did I post anywhere on here that this thing came with a Cummins Exhaust Brake already installed on it...

6.7l ISB? IIRC, not really a true exhaust brake, it messes with the vanes on the variable vane turbo. Accomplishes the same thing, though.

speaking for him, its a 5.9...........6.7 was out in 06 "I THINK" if you got a cab and chassis or bedless truck.
should be the 5.9 with the butterfly in the exhaust pipe for the brake.

6.7l ISB was introducted for the 2007 model year. I didn't think it was available in any other model, hence my question. According to the Dodge website, the 6.7l is available in the MegaCab.
I also suspect that it's actually a Jacobs exhaust brake. I don't see an exhaust brake listed as an option, and Cummins themselves offer the Jacobs for non-Dodge applications.
Eh, no matter. Butterfly valve in the exhaust.

It is the 5.9 as Gene stated.
The controller on the auto shifter in the cab has the big "C" on it...so I guess I just assumed. Its definately the butterfly valve. But I haven't found any paperwork on it as of yet.
It works really well. I towed my jeep to thee other side of town last week prior to getting the brake controller wired up in the truck. I just used the exhaust brake to assist with stopping w/o trailer brakes and it worked better than stopping with the van and trailer brakes. I'm so ready for the moutains!!
