TJ transfer cse in 97XJ?

(I searched first !)

Will the 231J transfer case out of a 98TJ (TJ has a AX-15 transmission), bolt into my 97XJ ??

I can get a good deal on this T/C but only works for me if there aren't too many problems with fitment.

Shouldn't be a problem, other than the shift lever assembly - just retain the one from your XJ

Make sure to check the spline length,I know the TJ autos use the 'long spline" input gear.
