It's been to long since we had a chapter meeting.

We have selected August 25 for the next meeting.
It is set for 7:00 PM at Liberty Park, SLC.

Decisions Made:


National Public Lands Day. IC will clean up Old Ward Canyon. Steve Jackson od U$WDA attende to thanks us for sponsoring the Old Ward Caonyon cleanup. He emphizised this is a big event for PR. It will help build a postive image with the Land Manager. Come participate and have a good time.

GiveAWay Jeep 2008 - we will work to have it include in the Shop Days. More details to come in this Thread (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=80298)

November run will be Providence Canyon - early November, exact date wil be posted in IC Chapter Activities Calendar (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=77561)

Holiday Party will be last week of Novewmber of First Week of December. Submit ideas to the Holiday Party thread. Date will be determiend based on location availability.

We will plan a newbie run. It will be open to everyone. Forum users and new member are the guests of honor. It an easier run great for stock XJs. See thread (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=95369).

We will change to a meeting /run schedule switching every other month. (ie Jan Trail run, Feb Meet&Greet, March Trail Run, April Meet&Greet...) We will try to keep the IC Chapter Activities Calendar (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=77561) thread up to date.

Good suggestions. I have connections in Delta and there are a handful of great trails out that way. And I'm from Cache Valley so I'm always up for Providence :) Come to think of it it's been way too long since I ran it...

If anyone needs to bring family/kids along that will be fine. This is a family friendly club. :angel:

If so I think that is where we should meet. Liberty park is a big place.

I was thinking of coming but now it was a choice between finishing my front bumper or hanging out next to a bunch of rusty Jeeps downwind of a stagnant city pond. The swap meet idea put me over the edge, I'll be there :D

Good meeting, lots of info covered and plans made. Good turnout for with the new folks too, we just keep growning. I like the idea of a newbie run to get to know folks and help them aclimate to their rigs potential.
Whomever bought the pizza, mucho gracias.....it was better than the Arby's Chicken Jerky strips and limp fries........
