RE flex joint ?

anybody know how tight the adjuster side of the flex joint should be torqued to when rebuilding a RE large superflex joint? i hope to be installing new races in mine tomorrow if the parts get here. thanks

A call to RE would answer that question. I've done a couple, got it to where it's not moveable by my hand, but moves when a use a large screwdriver.

RE says there is no specific torque spec but to pre grease it before tightening then to tighten until you can move it by hand but its pretty snug.

I couldn't move mine by hand when I got them new. Only with a screwdriver. So thats how I rebuilt them to. I must be weak.

pretty sure its around 40-60 ft*lbs
