the dome light and radio have stoped working. the fuse has been jumped to a open spot labled "batt" no matter where i put this jumper the dome light and radio do not turn on. i have just replaced the i.o.d. fuse and have checked others but none are bad. it was working fine today but when i started my jeep at a friends house it stoped working. the radio is wire to the memory wire so i have to turn it on manually. anything that could fix this?

upon further inspection i noticed my entire memory wire as far as i can see is melted. didnt blow a fuse till now.
The biggest problem is it sold yesturday and i only had it to install a new clutch fan. could anthing else have been affected?
im going to run a new wire from the radio to the fuse box to get it working but i dont believe the dome light will ever work again

did you put a wrong amp fuse in the spot originally?

it was acctually jumped because when my radio was stolen they ripped out alot of wireing and for some reason the orginal spot had no power. also a spot on the memory wire had been exposed where i believe it shorted out. it finnaly blew the i.o.d. fuse earlyier today. the new radio wire will be fused and im going to cut most of the old wire out.
