tentative windrock run on aug 12....

tentative windrock run not this weekend but the next probably on saturday aug 12. probably a moderate/ difficult run. so far 2 xj's on 33's and a tj on 35's.hopefully mine will finally be locked all the way around by then but it will probably be a one locker per vehicle kind of crew, ill keep all interested parties posted when we hammer down specifics. anyone is welcome with any rig and the more the merrier!

WELL count me out of the W. Rock trip on the 12th. yesterday the jeep decided to take another crap on me. not sure exactly what is wrong. i was in a parking lot and i put it in reverse and it just died. when i try to start it it cranks but no start. when i sprayed some starter fluid in the intake it almost starts but makes some crazy noise like there is something in the motor that is broke and bouncing around. its going to jim fibbs garage today so hopefully it will be done in time, but who knos?? :tear:

Bad luck. Sounds like it may be the NSS. Mine did the dame thing and I wired around it with a push-button--cost about $5. I can tell you how to do it if you want. If something in the motor is "broke" you might have a worse problem, but if it just a start issue I can help. 748-7483

check the engine control fuse? i agree with joe tho check on the nss too. the rattling noise with starter fluid may be it just dieseling the starter fluid (burning buy compression or residual heat) so i really don't know, but it does sound more like an ignition problem than anything else, cps is worth a look too.....
