How does the difficulty of the two trails compare? I ran Indy entrance and exited thru Liberty.
Is Carnage more or less difficult then that?
Thanks

Carnage BV probably considered to be tougher than Indy, it's certainly a longer trail. Both Indy and Carnage have nasty exits and require a winch. Indy through to the Patriot exit is one large boulder field with very little flat/wash area. Carnage has some flat area with smaller rock fields, but it has many more obstacles. "V-Notch" in Carnage is probably the most talked about - you will be in a solid rock, zig-zag carved, jeep-deep notch and will spend alot of time off camber to the driver's side. There's some other nasty obstacles above V-Notch that really test suspension flex. Indy's "A-Hole" and "Coffin Rock" tend to be the challenging parts before the exit - well, not to mention the "Waterfall" toward the start of the trail....
Both are very technical, nasty trails. If you break bad on Carnage, it's a long way and painful process to get you out once you're closer to the top. Ya gotta drive out through Chinaman's. If you break on Indy in the Patriot side, you're very close to tow rigs at the start of the trail.
You'll definitely use the exo on your rig on Carnage - the entrance has claimed it's fair share of roof edges and pillars. I'll be handy in V-Notch too. No doubt about it - your rig will get damage.
The nice thing is, Led's done these trails so many times that he's got a really good grasp on the right lines. He got B-Loose through a couple years ago on 33's and no winch..... wasn't easy, but he did it - with alot of help from rock stackers and having to turn his truggy around to winch him a few times.
Talk to Led at the event, have him look at your rig and he'll give you an honest assessment as to if you should attempt it - sure seems like you've got things built up well enough for it.

Thanks Troy, everyone says you're lame but I like ya.
I'll be arriving early (5:00a) weds. morning and I wasn't sure if i'd have time to talk to guys and assess my rigs capability for Carnage. I would like to do it and i'm not worried about cosmetic damage, only a bad breakdown. I'll look for LED
Looking forward to COFEST
