Upon inspection today I have a good size of rust under the rear bench seat right above the muffler, it is a bout a 6x8 inch hole or slightly bigger up to the hump for the tranny, and to the frame rail, the frame rails are untouched and still solid, the bottom was undercoated but it looks like this rotted from in to the outside, i also have a hole in front of each fender on the floor, i have cut out most of the rust, but does this affect the structuraly integrity, i know heat and fumes and what not will come in, but does it present and safety hazards, the hump for tranny is still rock solid, frame rails are rock solid, side pillars are solid as is the roof and everything else, and just about the whole passenger side of the rear seat area is completely untoucheed with the exception to the front of the wheel well, does the unibody rely on this area that much or will the roof and pillars and doors and everything else plus the frame rails take up most of the stress?....should I be concerned about having a ruined body or not?

Relax. The frame rails are doing most of the work. Patch it to keep the fumes and muck out, and to pass inspections, and it's good for a long long time to come. If you search around this forum some more, you may find a few threads relating to floor patching technique and materials. It happens a lot.

I've had a couple with more holes than floor.
