I have a 1985 XJ that, for the last year and a half has just sat in the driveway, with the exception of a regualr "start and idle." Won't really do that without a full battery recharge and starter tinkering anymore.

It is my first XJ, and my first trail rig. I currently have an 04 WJ that my wife drives, a 96 ZJ that I drive, and a 94 ZJ that is in the infancy stage of a trail rig build up.

I am hoping that when the ZJ is in capable shape that I might still make a run or two with the NAXJA folks...if y'all will have me.

Anyway, the reason for my post....time has come for me to part with old Cottontail. Is anyone interested? I am in Brentwood TN, just south of Nashville.

If no one here is interested, I guess he is going to the boneyard. I can't keep him in the driveway much longer in my new neighborhood. My preference would be to cut off the front of him and turn the engine bay into a meat smoker for the back yard. Pipe dream!

If you have questions or interest, e-mail me at twojeeps8596@aol.com.

Also, sorry about the signature line to follow. I did let my membership lapse ao I am not member 176 anymore...

Thanks

any parts that are worth taking off and parting out? skids, aftermarket bumpers? hd steering? just a shot at getting some stuff cheap.

I already sold all the skids.

It does have 3.73 factory gears in the 30/35 set up.

The lift is a Skyjacker 3" that has the coils in the front and the add a leaf in the back.

The remainder of the Jeep is stock as far as interior goes. It is a 2 door. The hood and left front quarter panel are dented due to a fender bender about 4 years ago.

It does have a set of nerf bars on it. Other than that, it has a new alternator and fairly new starter.

The color is grey, but it has a white tailgate on it.

Bumpers are stock.

It comes with steel rims.

The floor is vinyl.

I would love to show pictures, but haven't a clue how to do it. I could download some and e-mail individually, but don't know how to post on NAXJA.

As far as price...make an offer....
