My fuel gauge will be fine when the tank is full to about 3/4 but when it gets to about 1/2 a tank it will start to jump up and down any ideas on what it can be..

yeah mine does the same thing; its what happens when the float for the sending unit absorbs water or fuel. since I only make short runs it does not really bother me most I can burn in one day is 1/2 tank and that is hard to do. If you really want to fix it get the tank near empty, buy a new pump and sending unit to be on the safe side and drop your tank since everything is in there. Good luck

I dont think that is my problem my gauge jumps from full to empty every couple of seconds as I drive down the road but it only starts at about half of a tank.

tree lim, cut the wire on frame, plus the fuel line

up an down, the wire was for the ground i think..it had like one little wire holding on
