Does anyone have a part decoder for Ford parts? I bought an axle from a guy that he says is a d60, but I've got a scary feeling it's a d70. I don't have the VIN from the truck, but on the case is printed C34835. Help?

All google results of that number relate to a d70. Sorry buddy, doesnt look like a d60.

My money's on D70... but how about a BOM (Build of Materials) number from the housing.

Yes, rear axle.
So, saying it is a D70, what do I do with it sitting in the back of my truck? Is it good for anything?
