I'm going to try and make it, although I need to head into San Diego this morning (why the hell else would I be up at 3:30am checking my E-mail?)
I'm looking forward to scraching up my new Walker Evens wheels!

we had a freaking blast. I got to ride shotgun for scrappy and have a whole new apreciation for driving skills. his saved us from a few certain spots of flop including a sereously fun near endo when were were doing the wrong trail in the wrong direction. Got to watch captin ron kill the first fall of back door and a valeint try by opie on his forst attempt on it. he nearly had it numerouse times but driving a stick is a bit trickier than a auto and I bet he gets it next time.
I only got one pic before my phone died so as soon as I can charge it Ill post the pic
Thank you scrappy ron opie and the shutterbug for a good time I cant wait for round two

How did the shock oil level change go ?
Well, I like the resulting spring rate much better, but it's not enough oil for bump bottom. In the rocks it was great, and I have a much better idea of what valving changes to make next. Go fast bottoms out to easily though, front and rear.
I'm starting to think seperate bump stops may be the best way to go.

So got a few minutes to stick some pictures on the internet -
After getting to the lake bed, unloading the jeeps, taking a few blasts around the desert to check new suspention mods, we waited a few minutes for Dan, John, Kracker and Tim. Then we took off over to Jackhammer - did it the 'right' way.
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/710/stp81935gg4.jpg
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7992/stp81941yn9.jpg
Near the top of the first canyon, Scrappy got a little confused, and made a left turn... and we proceded down 'some other' canyon... till we realized we were going the wrong way...
http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/2845/stp81943rx9.jpg
We backtracked a little ways then headed up the ridge and down into the next canyon...
http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/817/stp81965qe3.jpg
http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/1374/stp81960ng7.jpg
Then headed back to the lake bed to get some sleep... Or so I thought... Talk of backdoor at night... lead to running back door at night :D
Scrappy had punched quite a dent in Robert's gas tank earlier and broke the fuel pickup, so at anything less than 3/4 tank, the engine would cut out from fuel starvation... So he didnt get to try it...
Ron made it look easy -
http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/9641/stp81982wh9.jpg
So, with 4 miles on my freshly installed teralow, I decided to spin it above 2500rpm for 'extended periods of time' :D
http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/5919/stp81989js4.jpg
http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/9114/stp82001ag5.jpg
http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/1441/stp82005xs6.jpg
Aparently I almost made it... I tried crawling it for a while, tried 'bumping' it a few times, but it just wasnt happening, and at some point I got bumped back down off the launch pad, and decided id had enough beating on my rig...
Which was probably a good thing becase as we were heading back to the trailers, my trackbar bolt decided its life as a one piece bolt was over, and it broke in two... and my front driveshaft bolts at the t-case backed out and stripped out (no bueno)...
That and the sun was coming up, and already the temperature was climbing...
so I limped it back to the trailer after pulling the front driveshaft (thanks Dan for the help) and pulled it onto the trailer...
