Disclaimer:
If you aren't interested in scenic photos, you might not want to waste your time - with exception of a small number of narrow spots these trails were all fairly easy and not technical.

Unfortunately we didn't get to do Black Bear and Poughkeepsie Gulch because the folks we went wheeling with chickened out, but there's always next year. :D

The San Juans are a beautiful mountain range and I'm fortunate to be in them. BTW snow has fallen in the SJs in Silverton, maybe another backcountry year starting in September!

It was a great trip.

We are lucky that my in-laws own a really nice house in Durango, with lots of space for visitors, so staying there is cheap. :D

Kemosabee, wow, snow already? We got snowed out last year in late September, looks like we picked the ideal time to go this year.
