Overhead console temp.

Ok I scored oan overhead console from the bone yard. When I pulled it I did not get the temp. probe for the outside temp. So when I went back the donor Jeep had been crushed. I found one out of a 90. Although the console is out of a 92. I'm curious as when I turn it on it gives me the OC where the temp is to be displayed. Is there a way to test it with a multimeter?

OC ---- Open circut. I don't know about testing with a meter, but try looking for a caravan with a OHC to snag the temp sensor or try the stealership. Good luck.
