I find it interesting that Hells Revenge is rated as a solid difficult, while Elephant Hill gets an easy rating. I considered the two to be very comparable. Just my own experiences I guess.

Elephant hill doesn't have the Hot tubs, Tip over challenge, Hells Gate or the Escalator. All of these obstacles are part of the trail. Depending on if you choose to do them is what makes the trail difficult or not.

The ratings I put down are what RR4wd has listed on their website. That is the rating I used.

Personally I'd rate Hell's Revenge and Easy while pointing out that the optional obsticles like Hell's Gate, the Tubs, and Escalator (and of course we always end up at Potato Salad!) as Difficult. I'd rate Tip Over as a Moderate myself since we have the perfect wheelbase for it and all ;)

Edit: Not knocking your rating - I'm more putting this up for the folks who don't know the trails who are reading it. All of the mentioned not easy ones have bypasses including tipover.

Herr Doktor... :jester:

I would appreciate you changing the rating to moderate. As trail leader, I will take all the easy lines so as not to intimidate new drivers. I will point out all the optional obstacles for those who want to take them.

Isn't it a requirement to have actually done the obstacle before you "personally" rate it?

Yes.

2005.

Was traction challenge - Jeep was stable as a rock throughout it.

Now I know you're just being a pain, it's GEOFF! Sleeping pills. Yeah... that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Actually came back here after doing some online banking to correct that slight oversight. (Hmmm... sleeping pills and moving money around. Need new safety procedures!)

Slight oversights suck. Been there and prefer not to go back (although with the frequency of buying Jeep parts and stuff lately....)

I haven't run Pritchett in about a year and a half.... how is it these days?

How about Cliffhanger? Is it dug out again yet?

Thanks,
