After Market Front Bumpers.

I know this has prolly been brought up alot but im looking for a front bumper besides ARB, Warn, JCR, Nates, etc. Im wanting to spend about 300 bucks a little less if possible and im looking for something with a brush guard with light tabs and d rings tabs. No winch plate, no plans on getting a winch. But i dont want to have to go with something custom because im sure it would be out of my price range. Any Help??

Cheap is good, as in a good price. But cheaply built products that wont hold up to the task of what we put our jeeps threw is bad. If i remember right JCR has a front bumper for around 300 bucks. My advice is save up and get somthing with good quality. Becasue you NEVER know what you might To go threw with it.

The red rig in the lower-left photo is mine, back prior to further build by PO. The Nates bumper is nice...minimalist profile, good clearance, well-built. Now sporting a winch.

Nate's looks like it is big an bulky. I don't doubt it is a stout piece, it's just that it doesn't seem to have decent approach angles. Search Ebay for the JCR bumper they sell there. It is supposed to be a budget type of deal but it is a good looking piece. I will look for it if I have time and post it up.

That last bumper is SICK and yes it basically what im looking for. What bumper is that??

Where I live the glaciers covered most of the rocks with 300 feet of sand. AJ's and JCR's are really nice bumpers! And they have more style to them, but you pay extra for that. With JCR's you also pay extra for the plates that tie into the rails, Nate builds those into all of his bumpers and they reinforce the steering box as well.

I bought mine to hold a winch, not get crumpled by bouncing off of dirt and stumps and the odd snow-pile, and reinforce the front rails, especially the steering box area. If I lived in Utah I'd probably want something different.

I know you said you didn't want custom......but this is my own design and fab. Here's another that I built for a fellow er that has a propensity to kill deer with his Jeep.....so far, the bumper is winning the battle.

A deep thought.......spend the money that you'd use to buy a bumper on a mig welder and then you can build your own, plus sliders, rear bumper.......the list goes on and on.

jcr winch bumper with hoop

the only reason i went jcr and not with a good miller mig is i need a bumper quick for a legit inspection sticker
