Was setting up this Cherokee for my teenage son when he rear-ended another vehicle. We held on to the Jeep for a while thinking that we would buy another Cherokee and take the parts off of this one for the new one. We have recently bought a different model truck and need to sell the Jeep.
The Good: Currie Heavy Duty Steering, JKS ACOS (Adjustable Coil Over Spacer), JKS Swaybar Quicker Disconnects, New Battery, New Alternator. All purchased new within the last 6 months and never taken off road.
The Okay: Grey Leather Seats front and back. Well used, but no tears or rips. BFG All Terrain TA (235/75R15) tires with 50% tread. Good transmission, good transfer case. Chrysler rear-end. 2.5” Bastard pack lift on rear.
The Bad: Front Bumper and grill gone. Radiator knocked off mounts and probably unusable. Front tip of “frame rails” damaged – not bad, could probably be easily sleeved. Fan, electric fan, most of the serpentine belt pulleys impacted by radiator. Motor had 220k + miles on it before the accident.
More than $700 worth of new off-road parts on the truck + $200 in the battery and Alternator. Will take $500 cash. Truck will need to be towed. Will not consider parting out at this time.
