recent lift that worked out to be only 2,5 inches gave me a viberation at acceleration and 65 mph.
I would love to do some mild trail riding and I'm a hunter/fisherman so I didn't want too high of a lift.
I thought with such a mild lift I wouldn't throw anything out of kilter.
How would I check to see if I might need to lower my transfer case?
Is that a big job?
Thanks in advance,Mike

I would just Lower it.
$30 ish
1/2 hour work.
4 bolts

just get longer bolts as your transfer case drop and alot of washers, or just some spacers, very cheap and effective fix. im surprised you got vibes at only 2" of lift. i just went 3.5 and have very minor vibes (only when accelerting quickly or hill climb in 4lo) and i will be doing my t-case drop this week.

If you can afford it, the SYE kit is the best solution. The x-fer case drop will work though and is quite cheap and easy to do. It will reduce your ground clearance though. X-fer case drop= <$20, SYE= >$300.
