Never Really Introduced myself...

Hey guys Im not too new to NAXJA but ive met quite a few of you. Last November I went out to the XJ Jambo in JV but just hit the easy run which was still pretty cool. Met some cool people and just hung out it was fun... Well anyways just sayin hello and showin off my XJ.

90 Pioneer, 4.0, 231, RE 4.5" SF, 33" TrXus, RE Hack N' Tap, RE CV DS, 8.8 w/ factory LS, HP D30, 4.10s, Shocks throught the rear, Custom Front and Rear Bumpers, Custom Exo, Removeable Doors, and probably some other stuff i cant remember...

The shackles... maybe. The leaf pack I have sitting in the garage is flatter than my prom date.:looney: But if you need them to go for a ride, they'll work. (again, sort'a like my prom date)

The JS project has now been dubbed project dust collector. It's doing a great job at it!

YES!

Mostly financial. I've got too many other projects and hobbies to throw tens of thousands into a JS rig right now. So who knows.

(Although I do have something else in mind for it...)

Skewrly: It's the trail just before pilot rock IIRC, and right after cleghorn, officially called 2N17X.

Last time I as up there forest service don't want you to go on that side, only in the middle, not that that makes any difference, but it was legal at the time.

And yeah, I'm scared of it too, in fact, I'm scared of any big hills now because of that stupid hill. That was back when I had no fear (read: stupid) and I would try anything. I also didn't have any lockers and smaller tires. And then I later read in a trail book "this part of the trail is a doozey, and the hardest part, if you don't have big tires and lockers, you ain't making it, so don't try" or somethign to that effect. NOW YA TELL ME! Apparantly, lots of people have rolled on that hill.

I found out by some people we were with, said that a group of people in a open top wrangler end o'd on it and they all died. or only 1 survived out of a couple.

Damn that sucks to hear, yeah the Victor Valley 4 Wheelers just did a big clean up on that trail and blocked all but the middle one IIRC...
