Got a sony PCG-F580, needs a keyboard and it's not worth spending $85 for one online, any of you got one sitting in the junk pile they could send to me.

I can check tomorow morning how much it might be through one of the venders we deal with and hopefully I will be able to get you one in reletively cheaply. I'd probobly say somthing like that would be around $40. I'll let ya know.

I checked today for ya rich, the price was horrible from both of my venders. Preowned wanted about $100 for it and Vance wanted about $90. Sorry. Get it online from that place if you can.

Not going to bother, between a new battery and new keyboard I'm looking at around $200, for a P3 500mhz, screw that, I can get an acer turon for $599 or really bite the bullet and get another IBM Thinkpad like I got my daughter last month. Guess I'll see if anybody wants the LCD, case and everything else to help 'defray costs' of the new one..

Did I mention, I freaking hate laptops for just that reason...

You might try laptopparts.com

If they are still around, I got a screen from them years sgo.

Also check if you have any state surplus places nearby, some of their "scrap" laptops go cheap for parts.....

Not a clue, I don't get involved in laptops much, maybe another of the ones here will go with a lcd failure or something in which case I can grab a keyboard from that maybe. I would like one for myself, my own, not a company one. I'll probably pick up another T60

This is the one.
