is it possible to download a video off photobucket ? i can't seem to make it happen. is there a secret to it ?

Yep, but you need Mozilla Firefox, and the Download Helper add on.

Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/)

Download Helper (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006)

EDIT: You can capture video from almost any website with that.

Y'all need to stop using Photobucket. It's blocked by the NetNanny. Anything Photobucket is just...not there.

Yeah, Imageshack works. Just be sure to use www.imageshack.us (http://www.imageshack.us), not www.imageshack.com (http://www.imageshack.com). Snapfish works.

Likewise, youtube is out but google video, break.com and others work.

Most private servers/domains work. Most everything known to feature pron does not.

If everybody could go back through their posts, copy their photobucket pics and youtube videos to servers I can see, then repost...that would be great. Thanks.

Ditto, but imageshack is "Blocked by Websense"... there does seem to be one that works, but I'm not sure... doesn't seem many use it!

Depends on your nanny's settings, I suppose. Rich offered some suggestions for ways to get around our nanny, but alas - I'm screwed. Apparently, my IT folks are somewhat competent. Who would have guessed? It'll all go down the crapper soon, anyway, as we're scheduled to migrate to something called "Active Directory." I think that's a government euphemism for the End Times.

Regardless, I won't have time for this any more as, through an administrative balls-up, my work load is going to triple, and they fired the two techs I used to have years ago. So, I'll be restricted to home viewing where, while there is no nanny, our 3kbps download dial-up effectively limits what I can see anyway. But then, with all the maintenance and honey-do projects, I don't have time to surf from home anyway.
